Smart In Load (SIL) is software for managing liquid and gas loading that ensures measurement integrity and fiscal and operational control, with agility and information security. It enables precise and effective monitoring of the loading and unloading process, from its initial stage through to completion. Its automation capabilities, through integration with preset controllers, pumps, valves, telemetry and other industrial systems, reduce the possibility of errors and increase the operational efficiency of terminals.
RODOIL implemented Smart In Load (SIL) at its Xaxim terminal in Santa Catarina to optimise management of the liquid loading process. The project covered the complete implementation and configuration of the software, including modules for checklists, unloading, loading, stock control, inspections and telemetry. The system was also integrated with a communication driver compatible with the AXIOM preset and a programmable logic controller (PLC) for pump control, using the Modbus-TCP protocol.
The main objective of RODOIL’s Xaxim terminal in using Smart In Load (SIL) was to automate and optimise its processes to mitigate risks and increase the operational efficiency of its terminals.
