The objective was to protect the facilities against damage, such as break-ins, fires and flooding, while monitoring critical variables such as temperature, humidity and lighting operation.
Solution:
A system was created to continuously monitor operating conditions. Collected data was transmitted in real time to the Control Centre. Whenever an anomaly was identified, the necessary corrective measures were activated immediately, ensuring station integrity and user safety.
Results:
- Complete implementation: The project included implementation, assembly, testing, commissioning and startup of the automation system at VLT Carioca stations.
- Efficient monitoring: The system provided comprehensive control of the equipment installed at stops and stations, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
The solution from TENTI (REXVOR’s partner in Brazil) ensured a more reliable and resilient operating environment for VLT Carioca stations, demonstrating the importance of automation in public transport infrastructure.
